Oh, what a day! The sun was shining, the river was-a-calling and my adrenal glands were crying out to be set free!
Sobek were taking us on a rafting trip on the Telaga Waja to feel the power of what nature can do when she turns her designs on a river. Riding through the rapids, waterfalls and weirs surrounded by fertile rice fields and deep-green tropical jungles, we felt like Stanley in the Congo. Great white hunters we were, and loving every minute.
Sixteen years in the business have honed Sobek’s skills to such a level of professionalism and safety that they have become market leaders in rafting in Indonesia. Thorough safety instruction, top-class equipment, highly-trained guides and stacks of fun ensured that we were around to tell the tale after it was all over and the adrenaline had worn off and we gently came back down to Earth.
